  1. Islamic Academy of Riverside, the foundation of instilling Muslim characteristics to all children, is one of the best Islamic Schools in Southern California. Its been about 5 years since I attended the school, even with the building the same everything has changed. Islamic Academy of Riverside has seen tremendous changes since I started back in 1999. I started off in PreSchool and completed until the 7th Grade where I moved on the public school system. Islamic Academy has improved so much over the years that coming back to the school and seeing the difference truly brings tears into my eyes. There are smart boards and projectors in every class room, students use ipads to enhance their learning of subject matters, and there is a 3D projector. I truly wish all these things were there when, I went there. In my opinion, the school is truly moving towards the 21st century and is headed the right way. -2007 Graduate

  4. It has been a great year for both boys attending IAR school. Teachers have made big difference in the boys’ learning process. When we asked questions about their progress we have received positive responses. Even when there have been some issues about behavior or anything that was brought to our attention, the teachers have worked with us and  provided us with their feedback so we could address it at home as well. We feel the students are challenged and have been pushed to learn to be independent but can ask for some guidance especially that both boys have English as their second language. The science projects taught them a lot even though  the topics they chose were relatively easy for students of their age. We appreciate all the school is doing and are grateful that the boys have been given the opportunity to attend the IAR school.            Best Regards,  Miral and Ayman
